for your bidding consideration from my very own personal collection is this wonderful old antique 19thc primitive childs sled from the Paris MFG Co. South Paris Maine. This is a truely country primitive piece in completely untouched patina showing original old wood and all the amazing ware you could ask for in such an early piece. The sled was painted and stenciled originally and still shows some of it's original blue & white painted stenciling. The sled is a small child's size or perhaps even used as a salesman sample. Please note the all around aged patina and front bent wood runners complete with the metal runners underneath. The sled may have had a couple of early repairs which have been done nicely as age & patina have taken over w the repairs were done. The sled measures almost 25 1/2" long at the base, 11" wide across the runners and 8 1/2"tall. This is a great wall hanging size to add to your country decor. Please note the early nails & rivets used to construct the sled. The sled is signed underneath " Made by the Paris Mfg Co. South Paris, Maine USA No 6. This sled a wonderful country collectable and would add nicely to your prim home decor. Please email with any questions prior to bidding as the item is being sold as seen. Packaging & handling are free. For shipping costs I will have the item packaged & weighed at the auctions
