Good, honest antique jug Yep, that appears to be a turnip in blue at the front of this fine antique stoneware jug, and we note it additionally is marked "Ottman Bros. & Co. - Fort Edward, NY" - one of the hotbed stoneware towns of the era. The jug is of standard size and features classic form, and it's in good condition with a glaze bubble to the right of the maker name, along with a mouth chip of about 1/2", though all else seems just fine and quite stable. It measures 12" tall.
