The 71st Infantry was one of the first twelve New York State National Guard units to be federalized for Spanish American War service. This Tunic has light age wear to the fabric and is missing a Shoulder Epaulette but Displays like a Museum Quality Uniform. There are a couple of loose buttons and there appears to be one missing button on the TailCoat though there are two Loose Buttons Present. There is very light wear to the embroidery. The inside is lightly worn aswell but is nothing to be concerned about.
