Please note that white specks are reflection, not flaws. [CR15] A fine hand painted and gilt 19thC oval dish with bleu celeste rim highlighted with gilding, the centre hand painted with cherubs. It sits in a well made ormolu metal stand. The dish has a hole to the inside of the footrim from being hung in the kiln and a painted Sevres mark with the letters N and E to the sides. The stand is well cast, with face masks to the legs, shell and Acanthus leaf decoration. Overall size is approx. 7.25"/18.4cm x 5.5"/13.7cm x 2.75"/7cm, w x d x h, and it is in fine condition, although with a little gilt rubbing and minor surface scratches, and a small manufacturing flaw which shows as a green spot to the right of the cherubs.
