A very fine19thc Victorian Staffordshire red and white spaniel hearth dog. Excellent attention to detail on this dog - superb bright colours, highly glazed. The dog's face is beautiful with vivid yellow eyes and a wonderful salmon pink muzzle. No 2 to base. Height some 9.5". Length at base some 5.25". The dog is in excellent and age commensurate condition. Superficial hairline to base - nothing of any consequence. A superb 19th century staffordshire red and white hearth dog which is very collectable. A fine addition to any Staffordshire collection.
