These 1mm plastic fiber optic cable strands have primarilysix to seven foot lengths of totally useable material with the balance of each strand (about four feet) wound into a fairly tight 3” diameter coil. These coils very from ten to twenty strands and have a cable tie or two holding them in check. The coil has taken a “set” from being so tightly wound and isn’t necessarily ruined; but it is some degree of involvement to straighten it…so the price of each bundle reflects just the useable length; which is approximately 1400 feet total for this bundle of 200 strands, The cable is originally from a large display. It was never installed or delivered so the cable is essentially new material in near excellent condition about a year and a half old from when it was installed on the display. It has been stored indoors all this time. This material is ideal for modelers, small displays, science projects, doll houses, Xmas designs or lighting ideas and other creative/experimental projects. Several helpful hints/instruction sheets are included for your use if knew to this material.
