Celestaire Astra III B Sextant Mint Condition! Today we have a beautiful Sextant from the Changzhou Celestaire Instrument Co. in China. This Sextant looks like it was never used and comes in a gorgeous varnished box with a brush, a bottle of oil, a mini screwdriver, and a mini ratchet. T is no wear at all to this item and looks great. The box has some surface scratches to it, and does not have the handle to it, but still has the locks to keep it closed tight for minimum amount of movement. From the research I have done on this piece, the body is made of a lightweight aluminum to prevent corrosion. This Sextant also has a lighting of the arc and drum powered by two AA batteries which go in the handle of the instrument. Another technical specification is that this instrument has a 20 degree arc, and is ready for any marine minded fellow or gal.
