First Edition, First Printing, First State of LITTLE FUR FAMILY by Margaret Wise Brown, and illustrated by Garth Williams. A miniature book in a box about 3.5 x 5 inches. Published by Harper And Brothers, New York, 1946. The edition comes with a box/slip case with an opening in the bear which shows the natural rabbit fur dust jacket. The book has spectacular Garth Williams illustrations in color. A beautiful example of this title.A beautiful, crisp book in near fine condition with the natural rabbit fur dust jacket . Later editions have a faux fur dust jacket. The book has a tight binding and very clean appearing as unread. The fur jacket is also in stunning condition being clean and supple with no stains. The slip case is in great condition with a touch of slight rubbing to the outer edges, otherwise no rubbing, no tears, no creases, no rips and no stains. A beautiful example of this scarce title. Perfect for a collector of rare children's books and collectors of Garth William's classics.
