This a rare much sought after 1st Series Hamm's Beer Scenerama or Scene o Rama Motion Beer Sign with Moving Waters. It is a lighted motion display sign, shows a lighted scene which changes as it shows a panoramic lake view from Minnesota Lake. The waters have the rippling effect and the waters flowing over the water fall are very life like. Then you view the campfire scene watching the smoke rise into the sky in an almost life like effect. The "Hamm's Beer" logo sign and colored prism are back lit as well. Clean logo or word smudges just two small pin head specs of paint loss as seen in pictures. You will know they are there because I told you. Back shows signs of age with some rust. New owner can repaint if he/she wishes but remember this is from 60 years ago not yesterday. Patina is never a bad sign on a motion beer sign made in early 1960's and comes with age. You can spend hours watching this sign to the point you can almost hear the beat of the drums and the chanting of "From the land of sky blue waters..." This is a clean and free of defects 3rd generation screen that came in it checked for blemishes and scratches and there are none just like the day it was taken out of the box. This motor is silent and runs smooth. Roof panels are original and consists of both panels matching panels. Clean white side panel inserts. Good clean scrolling film. New clean unscratched plexiglass panel and mosaic panel behind logo plates. Most scratches occur due to the owner not removing the plastic case to clean the glass and making sure it is secure before reattaching. No cracks in the case and screw holes are not damaged. This sign looks like it just came out of the box. The prism behind the logo plates has been replaced and has a small spot which does not detract from the sign and is shown in the pictures. Great clean sign ready for dad, brother or hubby, maybe even the woman in your life, for a Christmas present. Hang it and its ready to plug in and display. Other forms of payment are accepted and item available for pick up.I have left the plastic protective sheet covering the plexiglass on the sign for the new owner to remove so there will be no damage to it. I dismantle and repair most of the Lakeside signs and do have new old stock motors available from Hankscraft when Lakeside sold out in Chicago. I am a long time collector of Hamm's brewery items and signs. I totally take the sign apart and inspected it for flaws and damage. The sign has been checked to make sure it is operating properly and cleaned of any smoke residue. I am available for any problems in the future and many collectors have had me work on their signs in the past. This Hamm's sign is one of the many manufactured by Lakeside Plastic's Company, known for their production of motion beer signs, in the 1960's and is one of the most desired signs in the collection.
