1st Framed Nightmare Before Christmas 9 Pin Set 1994

This auction is for a 9 pin, framed set of enamel collectors pins from the 1993 film Tim Burton's Nightmare Before Christmas. This limited edition set of 1450 was made exclusively for (and only sold at) the Walt Disney Gallery to celebrate the original 1993 release of the film. On the back is the original Walt Disney Gallery store hang tag, the Certificate of Authenticity, and the original information such as the Walt Disney Gallery store number where it was sold and the individual number which is #920 out of 1450. The pins and background scene are in a matte black frame and double matted in black and white. The background scene of "Moon Hill" and the pins themselves were created exclusively for this pin set by Disney artists. There are 8 character pins...Jack, Sally, Zero, The Mayor, Santa (Sandy Claws), and Lock, Shock, and Barrel. The 9th pin is the the movie logo which is double matted alone below the main scene with the characters. The frame measures 18" x 16", the pins themselves are quite large, Jack, Sally and The Mayor are all 3" tall.
Please see the additional photos to see the fine details of the pins. The surface was very reflective and the flecks you see in the photos are NOT present in real life. This set is in MINT condition! It has never been used, hung with or even displayed. It has been stored in a smoke-free home since its original 1994 purchase over 17 years ago!
