Album STUNNING 1ST RUN LIONEL NO. 2333 SANTA FE F-3 AA FROM 1948 W/BOXES AND WRAPS Up for auction is this STUNNING 1ST RUN LIONEL NO. 2333 SANTA FE F-3 AA FROM 1948 W/BOXES AND WRAPS. These were the 1st run of the NEW IN 1948 F-3'S. Here is what makes them what they are:
GM LOGO IN RED HIGH ON REAR
COUPLER PROTECTOR AND REAR LADDER ARE NICKEL PLATED
BATTERY COVER SCREW IS BLACK, AS IS THE BRACKET FOR THE BATTERY COVER As you look at the pieces, please look at the condition. They are fully operational and are just a fantastic pair. I have never seen a nicer set in my years of collecting. The silver paint is as vibrant as you will find. The red just lights up the room, and the original decals are pretty nice. I can't tell you about the portholes, but most look to be original.
The ORIGINAL BOXES are super nice. They have their ORIGINAL INSERTS AND WRAP. The Power Box Insert has torn ends, and the Dummy(T) Box, has some tape used for reinforcement on the inside. I would give the P Box a C8/9, and the T Box near C-8 for overall look.
I doubt if you will find another like these. They are every bit as nice, and maybe nicer, than my description.
Look at all of the photo's and email me if you need further information. And please use the photo's for description purposes. For additional photo's you will have to email me.
