This is a really nice lot of four antique solid sterling silver 5" coffee spoons made by the famous maker, Wendell, a Chicago company that for a short while, until about 1900, made high-quality flatware. They have a beautiful, figural molded goldenrod floral type design on the fronts. I couldn't find a pattern name. I also have at least two other Wendell lots listed now, too. I am starting these at way below scrap value. Coffee spoons are generally 5/8" to 1" smaller than teaspoons and have gained new life and use over the last few years with the popularity of coffee drinks such as espresso and cappucino. They are also great for small desserts, ices, sugar, toppings, etc. These are all about 5" long . Even though they are all the same pattern, they are not a matched set, and each is a little different. They are all in good condition, details below, please read. Left to right, first photo: 1.
