You are bidding on two fresh to market Dixon J. & Sons Sheffield Plate wine coasters from the estate of a Largo Florida woman. These have been in her family for many generations. On the underneath both have tape identifying them as Dixon J. & Sons 1851. I am not sure about the date, but the mark has been used since 1835 according to my silver book. . Both the outer edge and the interior have the Dixon J. & Son mark and the interior center has some markings which I am unable to decifer- don't know if the center piece is actually sterling? T is also a number 342 on the outside edge next to the mark. Both are free from damage and have been well cared for. The center piece has been monogrammed which appears to be RAW. Please note the womderful rim edge work. They measure about 2 and 3/4 inches tall and 6 and 3/8 inches wide. Buyer pays shipping. International bidders are encouraged to bid. Good luck and happy bidding.
