are two highly reposse reliefed bowls made of solid silver. My great grandfather traveled around the world in 1906 and bought these in India on his travels. They are both unmarked but extremely detailed hand hammered pieces of the silversmiths craft. Both bowls feature figures on the hunt. The The animals on the bowls are tigers, elephants, rhinos, and a horse. The hunters are shooting guns amid the trees and ferns. The bottom of each bowl has an elephant embossed in a circle. Each bowl is in great shape with a few small dimples around each of the bases. The larger bowl is approx. 6 in in diameter and 4 inches high weighs about 11 ounces. The smaller bowl is 4 inches in diameter and 3.74 inches high and weighs approx. 5 ounces. These are both two lovely and quite exotic pieces of silver.
