Thomsonite Size: 2.82" x 1.77" x 1.71" 72mm x 45mm x 43mm Weight: 3.3 oz 94 grams Location: Aurangabad, India Fantastic quality Thomsonite peach colored sp crystals on matrix from Aurangabad, India. A large cluster of 2-3 conjoined Thomsonite ball formations stems from the matrix, the largest Thomsonite crystal measures 1.25" (32mm). Some minor fiber-like Scolecite crystals are seen linking between the matrix and the Thomsonite crystals. Thomsonite is one of the rarest Zeolites. While Thomsonite has been found at other localities, it is extremely rare from this location and the crystal formation is quite unique These were found about a year ago with a formation that has not been seen before or since. A great mineral specimen for display and study, especially sought after by collectors of rare Zeolite minerals. Save shipping costs by combining auctions for a period of 7 days.
