(2) ANTIQUE OLD SLEEPY EYE BLUE & WHITE STONEWARE VASES
This auction is for two Sleepy Eye Blue & Gray Stoneware Vases, each is embossed with "OLD SLEEPY EYE" Indian Chief on the front and with CATTAILS & DRAGONFLY on the back. These vases are in excellent condition with a crisp mold, great blue cobalt color and a wonderful glaze. The only imperfections are, one vase has two very tight hairline cracks running down from the top rim about 1/4 of the way down on the inside of the vase, these can not be seen from the outside, this first vase also has a tiny upper rim chip with a slight dark discoloring running a few inches below the chip, the other vase has one tight hairline crack running down from the top rim and looks like it may have had a repair in this area on the top rim as t is a build up of clay material around the inside of the rim, not noticable from the front however. (Please see pictures for these minor imperfections). The vases measure 8-5/8" tall with a 4" base diameter and each weighs 3-1/2 pounds. These Old Sleepy Eye cylindrical molded vases are guaranteed to be old original pieces and not a reproductions. Please check my other auctions this week as I have more WONDERFUL items listed, I would be more then happy to combine multiple auctions wins for cheaper shipping rates! Winning bidder to pay actual USPS priority shipping charges and MN res. pay 6.5% sales tax. Insurance is always recommended and encouraged but not required. If insurance is not purchased shipping is at your own risk. We do package very well but boxes have been known to be crushed. We accept Personal checks, Paypal, money orders and cashiers checks.
