2- ANTIQUE PEWTER TEA POTS DATED-1853 AND SIGNED "T. G. WOLF" WITH STAMP INSIDE BOTTOM for auction is these 2 highly embossed antique pewter tea pots that are signed and dated Â"T. G. Wolf 1853Â" on the lid of only one, but they have the identical makings and markings all throughout each piece. T is a stamp inside of the bottom on both these wonderful tea pots, it is hard to see since it is inside the bottom; the stamp looks like an angel but could be a lady justice too. Both tea pots have heavy embossed markings of vines, leafs, flowers and berries. They both have sleek, wonderful curves in the shape and have great patina. T are some remnants of the leather which was wrapped around the pewter handles originally. The larger tea pot stands 10Â" inches tall with the diameter at the top being 3Â" inches and the diameter at the base being 3 ¾Â" inches. The smaller tea pot stands 7 ¼ Â" inches tall with the diameter at the top being 2 ¾ Â" inches and the bottom diameter is 3 Â" inches. They both are hand forged pieces with super nice finals on top both lids which are ¾ Â"inches in height. The lid on the larger tea pot does not sit on the top perfectly, a minor mismatch, probably from the age and use. These would make addition to a person collection. Photos are pretty clear, look closely at the detail on these tea pots. A low starting bid with no reserve. Please look at photos closely and email if you have any question before bidding.
