This is a wonderful finf, aset of two antique/vintage porcelain bisque, nodder or bobble head figurines. They measure about 8 inches tall and 7 1/2 inches wide. They are matching and feature a Chinese man and Chinese woman each playing a Chinese instrument/piano. Both of their heads and hands move as if they are playing their instruments in a concert. They are both quite lovely and animated. They are a fine bisque porcelain with gilt accents. Both of their instruments feature a wonderful dragon, with a green colored with gold base, on the front. They match-but the woman wears a beautify decorated pink outfit and the man wears a matching blue/purple outfit. They are unmarked, but I think they are German--Pre World War I. They are both in perfect condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. The man has a rubber stopper on one end only to help hold the pin in his head, so he can bobble, that I do not think is original. All of his weights are t but the paper on one is being held on with tape. The woman is all t but the weight in one hand is missing, this in no way effects the movement- it bobbles just as much as the one with a weight. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. I am listing some other Asian goodies, so check out my other auctions. I combine shipping. Thanks for looking.** Please note if you choose Parcel Post it can take over 2 weeks to deliver.
