2 DORFLINGER ENGRAVED WATER GOBLETS FLORAL BASKET

This is a gorgeous set of 2 crystal water goblets with an engraved floral basket design made by Dorflinger. The goblets measure 6 3/8" high by 3 3/4" across the tops and hold about 12 ounces. They are all in excellent condition, no cracks, no chips and no fleabites. They have a notched stem on a rayed star foot with a polished 6 flower petal form on the base of the bowl which Dorflinger is noted for. I could not find this pattern in any of my books but I did find different parts of the pattern on other Dorflinger stemware, mostly the ones engraved by Walter Graham. The top rim has the same dot design as the Lincoln glass. Throughout this busy design t are dots which have been polished clear. These stems have a wonderful ring when tapped and I believe they date to the late 1800's. These apparently were made for someone very special and match the decanters listed.
