are a pair of the earliest Chinese ginger jars I have had the good fortune to own. I brought them from the family of an antiques collector who died several years ago. They had a kind of record he kept of what he paid for things he owned, a little over 25 years ago, he paid 800.00 for these ginger jars. They are in what I would call excellent condition, t are a couple of flakes (tiny) of porcelain chipped off, no other chips, cracks or repairs of any kind. They sit on nicely carved wooden bases, t are no marks of any kind on the bottom, or anyw else that I can find. The jars stand (on the wooden stands) about 11 inches tall and about 8 1/4th inches wide. I am an antique dealer, but not an authority on Asian antiques, just the general knowledge we pick up in 38 years in this business. These are a NICE pair of Ginger Jars!! They will be shipped in 2 seperate boxes for safety. All of the items you see listed in my auctions are fresh stuff, not from shops and auctions. I am and have been for 37 years, a door to door picker and that is w all my items come from. So keep a close eye on all my auctions, you never know what I will find!! ALL OUR ITEMS ARE GUARENTEED TO BE AS STATED. Raising cost have forced us to add a $2.00 handling charge. Cashiers checks or Money Orders will get you prompt shipping, personal checks take 9 BUSINESS days
