For auction is an authenic # 2 ERIE Toy Tea Kettle made abour 1900. You don't see many of these around, especially in this fine condition. Please note that the # 9 ERIE tea kettle is NOT INCLUDED in this auction but is for comparison only. This little tea kettle only measures 2" x 2 1/2" in diameter and is marked with a raised 2 on the spout. On the bottom are the words USE ERIEWARE THE BEST. T are no cracks or repairs. The handle is original and is in excellent condition. The inside of this piece shows some rust which is not uncommon. It is possible thatethe outside finish is not original. If you are a collector of Toys, this is a chance to own a very uncommon piece. A reserve has been placed on this auction for obvious reasons. Please email me should you have any questions.
