This is a pair of larger teeth I collected in eastern New Mexico recently! They are from one of the least common species of Phytosaur, Pseudopalatus sp, & they are large ones! Phytosaurs were dominant creatures in the Upper Triassic landscape & although they were not technically dinosaurs, they were just as fierce no doubt!!! These are "commercial grade" specimens, meaning that they have various flaws. The larger tooth measures 1 1/4" in length & the smaller one is a little over 3/4". They were found in Upper Triassic age deposits (Norian age), in the uppermost Bull Canyon Formation, in Quay County, New Mexico near Tucumcari.
