Antique Leather Top Stands This auction is for the 2 really nice old leather top stands pictured and described below. These are each in great condition. They are both sturdy and built well with no wood damage. Each has an amazing original finish. They both have a brown leather top with gold banding. T is also custom fitted glass on top of each that has served to protect the leather from cracks or splits. T is a carved panel on the face of each and t is a low backsplash type thing on 3 sides of each top which leaves the front open. Each of these stands measures 26 1/2" tall and 17 1/2" x 17 1/2" across the top. Following is the description and detailed pictures of this particular item. This is one view of the pair. This is the top surface. T is glass then leather. Both tables have a faintly discolored area in the center of the leather. We have not lifted the glass to try and clean it. It may or may not come out. My guess is each had a lamp t and the rest faded some so shoe polish should easily correct it. This is the face of one stand. notice the other 3 sides have a raised backsplash type design. This is the carved barly twist style pedestal and 4 legs. This is a view of the fluted sides. These tables will be shipped via UPS each in their own box. The glass will arrive seperatly. You will receive a total of 3 packages. If we happen to have a truck heading to your area within a week or two of the close of this auction we reserve the right to deliver these tables safely that way.
