This auction is for a pair of matching colorful 1/2L stoneware beer steins from Germany. The first stein has a picture of bowling pins, a pig and the # 9 on the front. The second stein has a picture of a monk, with a stein and beer mug. The sides of both steins have a nice scratch work vine design on them. The bases are marked "Reinh. Merkelbach - Grenzhauser ", with the numbers 427/25 and 427/43. The lids and thumblifts are pewter. T are no chips, cracks, hairlines, or restorations on either stein. Return policy if not as I have described.
