~ 2 Lovely Mikasa Provincial Dinner Plates ~ * * *Villa Medici* * * Up for auction are two lovely Dinner Plates made by the Mikasa China Company of Japan. These charming plates feature the ~ Villa Medici ~ pattern. The edge is decorated with alternating floral patterns, one is gorgeous blossoms in pink and blue on leafy tree branches against a white background; the second is lovely blossoms in blue, yellow, and pink against a green background. This is a wonderful pattern, the shape is Provincial. These colorful plates would match a variety of decor! Measure: 11" in diameter. Bottom marked: Mikasa®© - Provincial - CV900 Villa Medici - Oven to table to dishwasher - Safe for microwave oven - Japan. These are heavy, high quality plates. Beautiful condition: no chips, nicks, cracks, or crazing, only a couple gray utencil marks. These two dinner plates would make a perfect start or addition to a collection or set.
