For the next two weeks, I will be listing several items with an extremely low start and no reserve. This listing is for two miniature tole boxes both from the 19th century. They measure 4" L x 2 1/2"H x 2 5/8"D. The darker box has berries and leaves on the top and along the base. It is hard to note in the photographs, but along the top and across the middle, t is a painted scallop border. This one is also initialed and the word Needham on the base. This darker one has a dent and quite a bit of wear to the paint on the top. The other box's paint decoration is quite strong across the front and has more wear on the sides. This box also appears to have a name on the bottom. These miniature tole boxes are so charming really anyw For the next two weeks, I will be listing several items with an extremely low start and no reserve.
