I have collected and traded barware for years now. It has been a wonderful hobby, passion, and sometimes obsession. I have decided to skim a few items off the top of my collection and unload some other recent acquisitions. Please keep an eye on my other items if you're a barware nut like me!
we have a duo of great "Tells You How" recipe shakers.
The first is the classic Napier shaker that every cocktail shaker collector should have. It is the classic design that started it all and is featured in all the books of barware. It is the way I found it and shows better than normal wear. Plating is usually badly pitted on these. Not so Although it is not close to perfect it looks quite nice. I have owned ones that were a lot uglier for sure. It still has some of the red print on the recipes. Have a look at the pics. T is some scratches and a couple small dings.
The second is a RARE Italian Filiperuzzi Tells You How. Rago Arts sold one of these in 2004 for $431! This one should polish up nicely. It's had some time to oxidise while in storage. It has some plate blisters as shown. I never did work to hard to clean this one up. It has a cool shot glass cover with a couple minor dents. All parts are marked 2 and the bottom of the brass cup has Filiperuzzi mark as well.
