Up for bid I have 2 Noritake Butter Pats in the Azalea pattern. These are 2 items from a very large collection of Noritake Azalea. T are some very rare and extremely valuable peices in this collection. I am selling a few peices to see what they bring before I sell any of the more expensive peices. The two Butter Pats are in mint condition, t are no chips, cracks or dings in either. Trimmed in gold on top edge. Both pats are hand painted with pink Azaleas with yellow centers. The blossoms are accented with a raised moriage stroke in soft white. Check out the close-up, I tried to show the brush accents. The bottoms are stamped with the Noritake crest, the red "M" encircled in a laurel wreath, Noritake across the top, Hand Painted, Made in Japan, 19322 and a few Japanese symbols I don't have a clue what they stand for (also pictured in a close-up).
