This auction is one bid and NO RESERVE for two very handsome vintage Mexican sterling silver and polished hardstone bird figures, a roadrunner and a duck [or similar]. SIGNATURES: Both pieces well-marked as shown "925" for sterling silver and "Hecho in Mexico". T is also a maker's cypher as shown, but I'm not familiar with this mark and I'm unsure who made these. The collectors may know something, however, and I include good pics of both marks to assist the collectors. AGE: Vintage pieces from a very good Dallas picker resource. I would date these to around the 1960s - 1980s [vintage, not antique]. CONDITION: Both pieces in excellent condition, as shown, with a light patina of age and no actual damage of any sort. No chips or cracks in the hardstones. Silver fittings in excellent condition with no pings, dings, dents, or repairs. No monograms or removals. Both birds stand fine as shown without problems. I include precision pics taken in strong light from every possible angle and the pics are very honest and show the condition well. SIZE: Roadrunner about 6" tall and 8" long. Duck about 4.5" tall and 3" long. NO RESERVE and a very low start and the pics tell the rest of the story, a nice eBay opportunity.
