These 2 flange rest room signs originally hung INDOORS at the Cities Service Gas Station in Lewistown Illinois. It was unusual for old gas stations to have their rest rooms on the inside but this Cities Service did. the photos show both sides of these remarkable metal signs. These 2 signs each measure 15 x 5 inches. T is no rust, no color fading, no dents or bends and the colors are brilliant. The metal flanges are also in superb condition with no bends. These 2 signs are made of heavy metal.....not the thin lightweight tin that you see repos made of. I purchased these signs from an auto repair shop in Lewistown Illinois w they had been displayed for over 40 years. They hung in the Cities Service station before the auto repair garage took over the building in the early 1960's. They were dirty when I purchased them but they cleaned up beautifully. I don't like to use the word "mint" but these 2 signs are as close as it gets. I don't even see any scratches on these 50+ year old signs. Super condition and GUARANTEED authentic. I do NOT sell reproductions. Don't let them get away....you won't be disappointed!
