Well, you don't find this very often.... I have TWO pairs of UNUSED license plates of CONSECUTIVE numbers!!!! Let me walk through them for you so you know exactly what you are getting:

494MD-8: Note photo #2... it shows that one plate has a small scuff on the second 4 and another on the lower part of the 8. Photo #3 shows that both of these plates have what look like little marks in the blue that must have been made between coats, when the paint was still wet. Look again at photo #3 and see what I am talking about under the first 4. T is some of this on both plates. To be honest, it cannot really be seen unless you are holding the plates in your hand and even then, only when you tilt the plate in the light. Believe me, this is original to the plate and will not detract from the plate when on a vehicle or hanging on the wall. I dont want to downplay it TOO much and have you unhappy when you get these plates. So keep it in mind when deciding to bid.

494MD-9: In photo #5, you can see that one of these plates shows a scuff on the - and the final 9. In the second to last photo, you can see the same condition I describe above.... some sort of marking in the under coating. Was something in the spray? Were these bubbles? I dont know. How common is this? I dont know that either, but it is found in both pairs I gotta say though..... I would take these UNUSED pairs with the background issue over a pair of used plates any day.

SO! What are two consecutive pairs worth? Put in a bid and help determine the value of one of the best NY plate lots on eBay....... :)
