2 PLATES 9 1/4" ROGERS 1780 DESIGN JOHN STEVENTON BURSLEM THIS PATTERN HAS A CENTER SCENE OF AN ELEPHANT AND ATTENDANT IN AN ORIENTAL FANTASY LANDSCAPE. THIS IS A CIRCA 1920 TRANSFERWARE POTTERY THAT WAS REPRODUCED FROM A 1780 ROGERS PATTERN.
OFFERED ARE A PAIR OF 9 1/4" WIDE PLATES. NO CHIPS, CRACKS OR REPAIRS. SOME UTENSIL MARKS ARE PRESENT IF YOU FLASH THE LIGHT JUST THE RIGHT WAY ACROSS THE SURFACE.
Transfer blue mark to underside: "Reproduction of Rogers 1780, Made in England, John Steventon & Sons Ltd., Burslem."
