ALL OF OUR AUCTIONS ARE PRIVATE DUE TO THE OVERWHELMING FAKE EMAILS SENT TO UNDERBIDDERS. Up for your bidding consideration are two rare First Edition books and both are in Very Fine condition with dust jackets present and protective mylar sleeves. Title number one was published by Harvard University Press in 1969 and is a presentation copy by the famous museum Ethnologist Ernest Dodge and is entitled "New England and the South Seas", 215 pages with illustrations. Title number two is "The Missionary Whaleship" by Thomas E. French, published in New York in 1961 and is 134 pages. Both books deal with missionary contact with the native culture of the South Sea Islands in depth.
