2 Mounted (on a wooden board) Cast Iron Shooting Gallery Targets of Duck Hunters. These 2 silhouette targets are not matching: one is holding the rifle at his waist, the other has the rifle slung over the shoulder. Bother are wearing hats and both seem to be carrying packs on their backs. These 2 targets are mounted (modern mounting) on a wooden board. The bottom target (with the gun slung over his shoulder) is marked 'Chicago 171' on the shaft. I would date these to the early 20th Century. Both targets are about 7 ¼" tall and 4 1/2" at their widest; both are about ¼" thick. The board they are mounted on is 5 ½" x 24 ½". The targets are in good condition: they have been overpainted (on the front side) with white paint. T are no cracks or breaks and only very minor surface oxidation. A rare pair of shooting gallery targets, and a chance for all the ducks out t to get even. Buyer prepays, plus postage.
