This matched pair of silver spoons are stamped S. Kirk & Sons, 10.15. Each spoon is 3 5/8" long, and is heavy relative to its size. These date from the mid 19th century and are fully characteristic of their maker and period. The design is Mayflower, which is an engraved pattern. T is a slight tipt end on the reverses, and exposed drops on the bowls. Each spoon has an Old English "C.B." monogram, and a gold wash finish in the bowls.The condition is superb. The forms and finishes are flawless. The engraving remarks sharp and crisp, and the bowls are well shaped and free of burrs or dings. Bidding is the for pair at a single price.
