2 Salviati Venetian Shot Glasses, 19th Century Murano 2

This auction is for the two Venetian liquor glasses that are pictured. They were made by A. Salviati & Co. in the 19th Century. The glasses have an applied tan-pink glass chain-link (2 strands) around the mid section, studded with six berry prunts and trailing rigaree. The vessel and prunts have gold inside the glass in the typical early Salviati pattern. The two glasses shown in the first picture below are the ones you will receive. The glasses are in exceptional condition, with no chips, cracks, or breaks in the rigaree. The prunts are hand-formed, so have varying shapes, with an occasional sharp point, but no damage. The glasses are about 3" tall and 1 7/8" across. I am offering another pair of these glasses, as well as matching cordials in separate auctions. Be sure to check other things I have for sale if you are interested in putting a set together. You can combine shipping if you win more than one of my auctions in a week, so be sure to look at other things I have for sale. The glasses will be shipped Priority Mail in the US. They can also be shipped worldwide. A calculator is provided below for your convenience. I cannot be responsible for loss or damage during shipping, so insurance is recommended. If you are not satisfied, glass may be returned for a 100% refund of the purchase price -- no questions asked. It must be returned in its original condition within two weeks of the time of purchase.
