~~A Taste Of the Tropics~~ T are 2 accent rugs in this auction. The 1st rug seems to be woven cotton. It features a nice double rose print surrounded by dark pink paisley or scroll work. The back side is minus the rose print - so you can use it as reversible if you wish. This rug has no damage except some frayed tassels from previous launderings. Measures approx. 19" x 36". Perfect for you shabby cottage - whether tropical or stateside. The 2nd is a hooked rug that has quite a bit of SHABBY charm. It measures approx. 20" x 29 1/2"; with no real obvious spots or staining (most likely some t if you look hard enough). However, the rug has come to some misfortunes and is very "as is". For starters, t is an approx. 2 1/2" "circle" of missing threads visible on the top. And the rug backing is missing leaving basically just the hooked top. I think it is still darling, and would make a great cutter for a chair or bench pad. No foul smells. ~~~~ Join me this week as I unveil a bit of the tropics.
