are two Steer's #303 planes up for auction. Steer's planes are starting to become harder to find. They feature rosewood totes, ornate lever caps, adjustable throats, high cheeks, huge brass adjusting nut, and rosewood inlays in the sole. These were made by the Brattleboro Tool Co. in Vermont and marketed by the C.E. Jennings Co. of New York. These planes are in P-TAMPIA vol 1. These planes are Stanley #3 size with 1 3/4" blade. The planes are all original, some wear on wooden soles, one blade stamped with 303 and logo. One plane has a rear tote that is broken off at the top, which is repairable. Overall a nice pair of planes in the desireable smallest size.
