Ready to add to your growing collection of stoneware are these two stoneware mini jugs used as sample advertising for whiskey. They read, COMPLIMENTS, I. W. HARPER, NELSON CO., KENTUCKY. The jug on the left is 3.25" tall and has four vertical hairlines and a 1/8" in the spout. A 3/16" chip on the right side. The handle has some drying lines around it w it attaches to the jug, but was never broken. The jug on the right is 3" tall and has a small 3/16" chip on the side of the handle and some bubbles in the glaze with remnants of gold paint in them.
