Description Manufacturer: Vernon Kilns' Tam O'Shanter Condition and description: If you are a collector of Vernon Kilns', Tam O' Shanter plaid pattern dinner ware then don't miss out on these beauties! Vintage Vernon Kiln's dinner ware individual casseroles are some of the hottest, most sought after pieces in the Tam O'Shanter line! And these are in excellent condition! Both of them are authentic, vintage Vernon Kiln's from the Tam O' Shanter line which was introduced in 1949 and ran until 1958. The pattern is made up of diffused stripes of rust, chartreuse and deep green which combine to create an effect that has a perfect provincial, delightfully early American look that is fresh as Highland Heather and warm as a Scottish brogue! Each casserole measures 2 and 1/8 inches tall without the lid and is just a shade over 6 and 1/2 inches from the outside edge of the rim to the end of the handle across the top. Both of the casseroles are in excellent condition even though they have been previously owned. They are free of chips, cracks or repairs. These casseroles were obviously saved for special occasions! I will be listing 3 lots of Vernon Kiln's Tam O' Shanter patterned individual casseroles this week and am more than happy to combine shipping.
