Up for Auction are a couple of Aviation Clocks- A Smiths 8 day which keeps time and all functions work perfectly and a Wittnauer 8 day which does not run at all- it is wound tight, but does not tick- the second hand has fallen off, but you can pull the knob out and spin the hour and minute hand around. On the back of the Smiths clock are the code v308310/1 ser. no 1614/54 sorry but t are some numbers stamped which I cannot read-and in a blank space under Brit Pats - NAV is hand etched. The Smiths face is 3" in diameter and the Wittnauer's dial is 2" in diameter.Let me repeat- the Smiths Clock works perfectly and the Wittnauer does not run at all. These clocks are almost the last of my late father's aviation stuff- He had worked in aviation for over 50 years. In his lifetime he owned or was part owner of a B-17, a Lockheed 12a, a Boeing 247d and a many other smaller aircraft. We don't know w he got these aviation clocks, if they came out of one of his planes or did he buy them as parts. If you have any questions at all, please email me. I would rather not mail to a PO Box if it can be helped- $10.00 shipping in US- I will ship internationally, shipping price will vary. Other than that I'm easy.
