What wonderful Madeira linen! These are two sets of vintage Madeira linen luncheon or bridge tablecloths with matching napkins and were made in Portugal. This auction is for all that is pictured - two tablecloths and a total of 8 matching napkins. The linen is white and trimmed in light blue which as the labels state is hand embroidery. The tablecloths have baskets on all 4 corners, and each napkin has a basket in one corner only. Each piece has insets of lace ( seen in some pictures) on the edge near the corners. These sets come with original labels and boxes. The tablecloths measure 36" square and the napkins are 12" square. They are free from tears or holes, are strong, but do have some age spots from being stored. With some TLC they will be clean as new. If tips are needed on clean-up I will be happy to share mine. Feel free to ask questions, and thanks for looking. The shipping costs can be reduced if the buyer decides not to receive the linens' boxes. Check with me for lower shipping without the boxes. Shipping only in the United States and Canada. Canadians will need to contact me for shipping costs. Insurance is optional.
