We have for your viewing and bidding pleasure two vintage collectible soda pop items.The first is an enamel porcelain metal soda pop advertising sign.The sign has a white background with a 3/16" wide green border all the way around.Then 1/16" of the way in from that is a white strip.Next to it is a 1/16" red stripe all the way around.Towards the lower right 1/3" of the sign it has graphics in the color green of a rather old hillbilly fella with a beard.He is holding a moonshine jug with the cork shooting out going through the front brim of his hat.On the sign it states DRINK MOUNTAIN DEW IT'LL TICKLE YORE INNARDS! These are in red and green letters.The sign measures 9" by 12".This sign is alittle weatd with some soiled areas on the face.The back side also has some soiled areas with water surface rust staining in some areas.It is rubbed and scraped by the mounting holes on the back side.As with most of our goods we are listing and describing it in an "as is,as found" condition.The second item is a large drinking glass.It measures 3" across the base and 3 1/4" across the top and is 6 1/8" high.It has ten 3/4" round debossed areas all the way around the lower part of the glass above the stem area.On one side towards the top in green it has the name MOUNTAIN DEW.On the other side it has the same hillbilly character we described above with the same statement.To the lower right of this statement it has the R inside a circle which stands for Registered.If we recall correctly MOUNTAIN DEW was around the 1970 era or possibly alittle before and we believe these items are from the same time period.We are listing these 2 vintage collectible MOUNTAIN DEW soda pop items at a no reserve selling price.So,thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
