This is an outstanding amazing tool, that will take a 1/2" wooden dowel and turn it into a threaded rod, and turn 3/8" hole into a threaded receiver. Just clamp a dowel in a vise and start to twist the tool. Two hands are not even necessary it cuts so fast and easy. This model will thread to 1/4" from the flat bottom of a hole. Tool is constructed of rock maple measuring 10" across end to end, with brass adjusting bolt and screws, a beautiful tool in its own right. Threads cut by the tool will be 7 tpi.
