Two sweet paper mache trays -- one in an elongated rectangular shape; the other in a rounded plump rectangle -- both in a tole floral design. The background on the larger tray is an intense deep golden color. The elongated rectangle shows a pale antiqued blue and an antiqued ivory color. Both trays are decorated with similar flowers in red, blue, and deep green outlined foliage. Delicately outlined scrollwork defines the edge of the center. Quite pretty. And beautiful delicately outlined scrollwork define the center. Made in Japan. Dimensions:Larger tray - 14 inches long, 12 inches wide Smaller tray - 14 inches in length, 6 1/4 inches in width Condition: Quite good. Just a small amount of the normal things you expect to find: A little wear on the edges. Fine crackling to the painted finish in a couple places-- that is normal. Good for another 100 years.
