DESCRIPTION: This listing features 1 tube (20 x 1 oz) of 2010 Lakota Copper Rounds. The coins are simply amazing - the nicest offering available. Each coin weighs 1 ADVP ounce (28.3 grams). They come in tubes of 20, I've only opened them to ensure the right rounds are in each tube. The coins remain Brilliant Uncirculated (BU). These are AOCS rounds, so they can be used as barter at participating merchants if you're so inclined. The Lakota rounds are far and away the best looking AOCS rounds, and the nicest looking 1 ounce copper rounds I've seen to date (including the 2011 offerings). These coins are considered proofs by many, I'm not familiar enough with the minting process to say one way or the other, but I will note they are VERY nice. As silver shoots up in price, copper is rapidly becoming the "poor man's silver". Copper prices have been on a TEAR lately, reaching new record highs several times in 2011 (after doing the same in 2010). The old U.S. copper pennies are now worth 3x face value, and there is as much copper in each one of these rounds to equal over 450 of the current year's U.S. pennies.
