are 20 different campaign-button pinbacks from the 1972 presidential-election campaign of George McGovern and Sargent Shriver. (Note: a couple of these are anti-McGovern.) Sizes range from 1 to 1 1/2 inches.Wording includes: "Register and Vote McGovern"; "My Choice in '72: McGovern & (Wilbur) Mills"; "John Vasconcellos Wants George McGovern in '72"; "George McGovern is Coming to Power"; "Remember Roosevelt? George Does!"; "Mayors for McGovern '72"; "Vote for the Man Who Will Keep Faith With You McGovern"; "Young Americans Love McGovern."
Anti-McGovern includes "McGovern and ?" and "George McGovern Makes This Legal" (showing what may be a missile going "pop"). Some discoloration on the back side of several of these. They come from a collection assembled in the 1960s and 1970s. Each is in a 2x2 cardboard "flip" and the flips are in a plastic sleeve for protection. (The plastic created some minor glare in the scanned illustration.) Buyer pays $3.00 postage/handling/packaging to U.S. first-class mail. Will combine multiple purchases to reduce postage. Insurance optional. Sorry, I do not use PayPal.
