This is a very rare 20" Ideal Miss Revlon doll dressed in her coat/dress ensemble called "EVENING STAR" which was sold in the 1957 Sears Christmas catalog. Doll is marked Ideal Doll VT-20 on the back of her neck and she is in excellent condition. She has dark blonde hair, blue eyes with great lashes and high cheek color. Her left cheek has somewhat of a factory rub. But she is a striking beauty!! You can find her on page 48 of "REVLON DOLLS AND THEIR LOOK-ALIKES" by Kathy Barna. The coat is lined black velvet with white fur trim around the collar and sleeves. The dress is a rayon taffeta material with lines of gold metallic threads and gold waist trim with attached taffeta half slip. The banner is attached at waistline "Walking Revlon Doll" and is in great condition. She has on a pair of pink taffeta panties...not sure if they are original. Miss Revlon is wearing a pearl necklance and rhinestone earrings with only slight discoloration at the ears which may come off with a good cleaner. Her seamed stockings and black elastic heels are original. Her hangtag is also original...not a repro. Doll is from my personal collection and has been displayed in my glass doll cabinet in my non-smoking and no pets home. Doll and clothing have no offensive odors and dress does not appear to have been laundered. Sale is final with no returns read more
