This is a fabulous 20 piece place setting (Complete service for 4) of Noritake China from Ireland called "The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady". This set includes: 4 Dinner Plates 4 Salad Plates 4 Soup Bowls 4 Cups 4 Saucers The dinner plates feature a vibrant pattern of Common Red Poppy, Hare-Bell and Mayweed flowers. The outer portion of the plate says, "Fairest of Months! Ripe Summer's Queen, The Hey-day of the year with robes that gleam with sunny sheen. Sweet August doth appear. R. Combe Miller." The back side of the plate says, "Noritake, The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady. The moor-cock springs on whirring wings among the blooming heather, come, let us stray our gladsome way and view the charms of Nature, The rustling corn; the fruited thorne. And every happy creature burns. Edith Holder - 1906." The salad plates feature Swallows, House Martins and WIld Strawberry. The outer portion reads, "Soon over their heads blithe April airs shall sing; A thousand wild flowers round them shall unfold; The green buds glisten in the dews of spring.
