auction is re-listed AGAIN because the previous winner(whom I cant mention since ebay deleted my ad for stating the NON paying buyers handle since sellers can no longer leave NEGATIVE FEEDBACK)who bid on these to re-sell on ebay for 3x the amount refused to pay and was rude, mean, sarcastic, harassing and a real pain to deal with! so again, it is being relisted for a 3rd time 20 pieces of GUARDIAN SERVICE with Lids & Handles "Guardian Service Ware" is a much desired collectible of 1930-40's aluminum cookware. The company prior to Guardian Service manufactured " Silver Seal " aluminumware. Initially the company had sturdy metal tops, but during the war as everyone was doing their part the tops switched over to glass. The age of the cookware can be identified by the imprint on the bottom of the pan. Not only is it great looking, it truly does make cooking easier with it's "waterless method".The Guardian Service pieces that I am listing were part of my Grandmothers collection. Unfortunately for us, she does not cook anymore. She told me of stories of when they lived in Brooklyn, NY of how a push cart would come by their house once every few weeks and sell these pots and pans.
